Drawing

You know that feeling you get when you want to draw? I’ve been getting that feeling, so I started a small series with my cherished 005 micron pens because there is nothing I love more than tiny things. Frames included, these little buttons measure just over 3.25″ x 1.5″.

While perusing Etsy I saw the tiny wheel looking things which were once part of a clock and thought to myself  ’hmm, I’m going to incorporate these into little drawings’. Next, I was out shopping and I saw the frame. They look like they were once part of filing cabinets. To hang, only one thin cotton thread was needed.

So… achem, It’s been a while. So long in fact I’ve had to teach myself how to post again. My ancestors would give a big ‘oy vey’ right now. First things first! Do you remember the little watercolor I painted? Well the quilt has been finished for as long as I can remember. Here are some pics.

What I like most about this quilt is the weight of it. Very heavy. Thick linen. YUM
